Art Wall

A wall on the main floor of the Woods Memorial Library is now dedicated to showcasing the works of local artists. Organized by the Barre Library Association (BLA), the local art gallery wall is a great marketing vehicle for artists who want to display their masterpieces and become a local household name. If you are an artist, and would like to be considered for a showing, refer to the guidelines below.

Barre Library Association's Local Art Gallery Guidelines:

Eligibility
Open to all artists, professional and nonprofessional.

Exhibitor
Only one artist or one group of artists may exhibit works during one time.

Hanging
All artists must hang their own work and are responsible for taking it down.

Timeframe
Artists will be given a one-month showing of their work. Due to the volume of request we receive, the library reserves the right to restrict artists from having more than one showing within a one-year timeframe.

Descriptions
Titles and/or descriptions of the work are welcome if provided and will be positioned next to the piece using a removable, temporary adhesive.

Note: Any views or interpretations of art displays do not reflect the views or interpretations of the Barre Library Association.

If you are interested in showing your work, contact Stephanie at 978-355-2533.
