For over 100 years the Woods Memorial Library has been a resource for the people of Barre, MA. In addition to offering a full library, including a media room, Woods Memorial Library features a newly-renovated, expansive children's library and a designated teen section.

With the addition of special interest programs, Woods Memorial Library is now a great family destination, too!

Get involved in your local library by participating in the classes we offer; taking part in our book club discussions; joining us for storytime; utilizing our free public-use computers and internet connection; or, simply, checking out a few books. Of course, fiscal donations and donation of your time are welcomed ways of getting involved, too.

Because Woods Memorial Library is focused on family, we have, and encourage, you to read our usage rules and guidelines for the public-use computers and the internet, as well as our policy on children and their behavior in the library. Please help us maintain a safe environment for the entire family, you can do this by modeling the appropriate library behaviors set forth in our guidelines.
