The Barre Library Association Museum

The Museum houses a unique collection of Native American artifacts, Civil War memoribilia, preserved animals and many Barre Library Association Museumother items. The items in the collection were donated to the Barre Library Association (BLA) over the years and are currently maintained and operated by volunteers of the BLA's Museum Committee. The Museum us open by appointment or by tours led by one of the Committee's members. The tours are available on the third Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m.

The tours are excellent opportunities to ask questions and learn details about the Museum's contents. To schedule an appointment, please call the library at 978-355-2533 and ask to be added to the call-back register. One of the Committee members will return your call to schedule your appointment. The BLA requires visitors to show a valid photo identification for entry to the museum.
