Global Warming and What We Can do About It

THIS SATURDAY!! Join Raymond Bradley Saturday, February 8th at 10:30 a.m. on the latest information on Global Warming and what can be done about it. Professor Bradley, a world renowned Geo-scientist, is known for the research he co-authored to help make famous the “hockey stick graph” and data in the movie An Inconvenient Truth, by Al Gore. Ray Bradley is the director of the Climate System Research Center at the University of Massachusetts and a University Distinguished Professor in the Department of Geo-sciences. Additionally, Bradley has been an invited speaker at many major national and international venues and climate change related conferences. He has spoken on the unprecedented rate of climate change, the risks and consequences for all organisms on earth, the politics surrounding climate science, and how climate science must inform and shape policy decisions. This free event is sponsored by the Barre Energy Advisory Committee and is one in a continuing series to promote understanding and to develop a nucleus of citizens concerned advocating for awareness and change.
