Technology Assistance

Drop-in tech sessions will now be available during Device Advice hours. Bring your device to the library on the third Tuesday of each month from 4-6pm for general technology assistance. Please see the Calendar of Events for specific dates.

The Adult & Technology Services Librarian offers 30-minute individual tech help sessions, which are tailored to your needs. To set up an individualized tech help session, schedule an appointment online by filling out the form below.

Please note that we are unable to assist with in-depth technology issues, hardware repairs, or specialized software instruction.

Types of Assistance

  • General. Help using your computer, tablet, smartphone, or with specific programs and apps, such as Microsoft Word or social media, like Twitter and Facebook.

  • Online Job Applications. Help with job applications and any other kind of online application.
    Please note: Our services include helping you with the technical aspects of filling out your application, but we cannot advise you in legal, medical, financial, or tax matters. As always, we are happy to direct you to reputable resources in these areas.

  • Downloading eBooks, magazines, and more. Learn how to use OverDrive or Libby to download eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, and more. Bring your eReader, tablet, or smartphone with you.
