Please contact us if you’re depressed, contemplating suicide, being physically or sexually abused, on the run, addicted, threatened by gang violence, fighting with a friend or parent, or if you are faced with an overwhelming challenge. Call, text, chat, or email all available via the website.


Anxiety

AnxietyCanada – Anxiety Canada is a non profit organization which was started in early spring of 1999 by a group of concerned consumers, family members, and professionals, who work to increase awareness about anxiety disorders; promote education of the general public, affected persons, and health care providers; and increase access to evidence-based resources and treatments.

Psych Central – This is the Internet’s largest and oldest independent mental health social network. Since 1995, this award-winning website has been run by mental health professionals offering reliable, trusted information and over 200 support groups to consumers.

ABCD Family Planning – The ABCD Family Planning program provides comprehensive family planning counseling, education and medical care for 30,000 women, men and teens in community health centers, school-based health centers, hospital primary care programs, and youth development programs. Along with community-based education and outreach, the program seeks to insure that residents of the diverse neighborhoods in the Boston area have access to preventive health services and education to plan their families and maintain their health.

Go Ask Alice – Go Ask Alice! is a health Q&A Internet resource. It provides readers with reliable, accurate, accessible, culturally competent information and a range of thoughtful perspectives so that they can make responsible decisions concerning their health and well-being. Safe Teens – Safe Teens is a program of Maternal and Family Health Services, a private non-profit health and human services organization, MFHS works to meet the health and nutrition needs of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s women, children and families with information, education, and quality care.

Body Image For Teens – The Palo Alto Medical Foundation’s Teen website “We’re Talking!” was  developed by the Adolescent Interest Group (AIG), composed of PAMF physicians, social workers, educators, and researchers concerned with addressing the health care needs of adolescents. A group of teens from the Summer Wellness Education and Training for Teens (SWEAT) Institute also contributed to the site.

 National Eating Disorders Association – NEDA supports individuals and families affected by eating disorders, and serves as a catalyst for prevention, cures and access to quality care.
